Ágota Varga
Ágota Varga is a freelance art historian and editor. She served as Assistant Curator at the Szépművészeti Múzeum, Budapest, researching the history of collecting Netherlandish and German art of the 1400s and 1500s. Prior to that she held an Allen Whitehill Clowes Curatorial Fellowship at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, where her discoveries about the side panels composing part of an early 15th-century Passion of Christ altarpiece in the Clowes Collection led to a reconfiguration of the ensemble to its original disposition.
