Annette Schlagenhauff
Annette Schlagenhauff has served as Curator of European Art, 1800-1945, at the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields since 2017. She has held a variety of positions there since 2003, curating exhibitions on German Expressionist prints, Picasso, Indiana artists and the Monuments Men, among others, while retaining a primary focus on WWII-era provenance research. She received her PhD at the Courtauld Institute of Art, London, on a topic comparing the artworlds of Berlin and Paris in the mid-19th century.
