Sheila Barker
Sheila Barker is Executive Director of Studio Incamminati School for Contemporary Realist Art. After completing her PhD at Columbia University in the history of art in 2002, she was a Clowes Fellow in 2003. In 2005, she joined the Medici Archive Project and worked there for 17 years, founding the Jane Fortune Research Program on Women Artists in 2010. In 2020 she curated The Immensity of the Universe in the Art of Giovanna Garzoni for the Uffizi. Her most recent book is Artemisia Gentileschi, published by Lund Humphries and Getty Publishers in 2022.
