Andrea Kibler Maxwell
Andrea Kibler Maxwell is currently an Andrew W. Mellon Fellow at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the Robert Lehman Collection. She holds a PhD in art history from the University of Pittsburgh and an MA from Kent State University with a specialization in early modern Italian art and theology. Her research examines painting and religious discourse to reveal how pictures were mobilized to both formulate and oppose certain religious out-groups.
